    Jamie,

Yea I work in Duluth off of Satelite & 120, and live out towards Winder so you are close. I've seen a Red Mav around here a few times but I haven't seen him in awhile. Also, I saw a nice black Comet just the other day at Boggs Road & Satelite.

I did check out the Pull-a-part down off of I-675 online and they have six or so Mav's listed. I'm going to try and check those out, and I'll try Johnson's too.

I've been looking for spindles kind of off and on because I know these are a little hard to find, but I still have my gas tank to install, and new exhaust, before I get to the brakes. Hopefully with that I'll at least have it driveable.

Not sure about the black one but there are a couple of guys on here around this area with red ones. Mine is a flat black Mav with a blue Comet hood.

The one down off I-675 don't have much. Me and Terry (Hawkco) have been there a couple of times. The cars there right now have already been pretty much stripped, not much good left on them. The Norcross/Buford Pull-A-Part has a blue '76 Comet with good 302 frame mounts and a good blue dash pad. The blue Comet hood on my Mav came off it.

there are plenty of spindles around me from granadas and mavs....only problem is that the yards want 75 bucks on up. back then gas was a lot cheaper too. i guess what i am saying is that a couple years ago, i'd yank a set for 50 or 60 bucks and let them go for whatever the mav market would bear plus shipping. but the market seems to be the same as what these yard bosses charge nowadays. wish i knew who let the cat outa the bag to these yard bosses. a yard near me wants 95 bucks!!!! how bad is that?

eBay let them in on the demand.
Most yards are computer savvy nowadays.

If You Can Get A Complete Set Up For $95.00 You Better Grab Em'!! Check Ebay Prices Lately? Some Are $175.00 And Up!! I'll Take A Set For $95.00. Shipping Is Not Really Bad I Think Less Than 50-60 Bucks.

If you buy parts that are already off car be sure you know what you are buying ,what they are off of. I like to pull my own parts when possible so I know I get all the parts I need and they match. As far as prices go you are on your own there, how much you are willing to pay depends how bad you want/need it. I go to that pull-a-part all the time. The yards that used to be around here that delt with the older stuff have all gone away now. I used to buy a whole parts car for $100 strip it of what I needed and sell the rest for $50 to the junk yard.

Yep, the Norcross/Buford pull a part don't have much in the way of older cars. But man are they cheap. I've gotten several things from that Pull A Part for less then half what they show on their website... I go there at least once a week. They have alot of older trucks and vans, a '65 Falcon and a mostly stripped '67 Cougar there right now.
