    Still Catching up, sorry..

Thanks for all of the responses... We will try to bring it (Pinto) to Carlisle if we can. Otherwise, we will bring pics of the 3 together (and post pics here too). We have not had a chance to photo all 3 together yet...(Ahhhhh, it's still snowing here in IN). Also, we took 3 days off work to go and get it.. still trying to catch up, so no one knows! ;)

It's great to hear we are only the 2nd known to have all three.
Hi Jim, we have the sportroof mustang too. We had been looking for over 2 years for the pinto, we finally found it in Oklahoma. It just has surface rust, for the most part (except floor pans), but very restorable.

**BTW: Looking for floor pans for the Pinto, if anyone knows of a source. Otherwise, it's ready for us to start restoring. It needs the most work of all 3, so we will complete it first.

The Mustang just needs the stripes put back and the olympic stickers (maybe a few very small things).

The Maverick was a true barn find (we bought it from the original owner from 1972-we have a neat story about him taking a train to MI to pick it up); It doesn't need much of anything.. just cleaning up, new carpet (due to the smell), havent decided if we should freshly paint it-or keep it original.

The Pinto, as stated above needs the most; floor pans, clean up, new upholstery (middle inserts-faded), carpet, etc.

We promise pics very soon, as I said.. we had to "sneak" over 1500 miles to get it.We need to keep our jobs-to have money to restore these! :bouncy:

Guessing it was you towing your car on 80/94.
Geez, I was going to blow air horn but afraid you think the wrong car.
Was interesting seeing Pinto being towed!

Ha Ha, yes.. that was us. Sorry I didn't respond.
It is the funniest story... that you saw us on 80/94 and commented on it here...just hours after seeing us.

We keep telling people that happened, I don't think they believe us!
My mom said, "what, people just look at cars on the expressway all day"??

She doesn't understand that this Sprint Pinto is rare, unique, and only a small amount of people know WHAT it is.. or WHERE to go to talk about it.

    WE love this forum!! :thumbs2:
