Ok hang on ya'll, yes I have Hagerty, yes the car is like it was the day I insured it with them, yes I have "under construction" coverage with them, yes it is agreed value also, no I am not taking off any parts, yes I will buy the car back IF the price is satisfactory for me, I will not pay more than I feel it's worth and I should know, I put whats in it there and I know what I have in it, yes if I want to buy it back I will dicker on THAT amount, I already have a much better steel Grabber hood than is on the car along with a fiberglass one, we will all know what happens tomorrow @ 10:00am.

Damn that's one looong sentence! LOL!!! Just playing with ya! Good luck today, I'm sure there are many like myself who are waiting to hear the outcome. I hope I didn't aggravate you or anybody else with my comments. I meant no harm, only trying to help.

Nope no aggrivation here except for not having my car, I am getting ready to go out and take the tarp off, then all the neighbours will know it's been wrecked lol, on another note the shop is delayed because the idiots at U.S. Buildings sent me the wrong replacement parts so I now have to refuse shipment and wait, got alot going on today, friend coming over and we've got to pull the electronics off my boat and get it ready to sell, I'm not using it so it's going bye bye.
Might get just enough money from the boat to buy me a nice tool box and some more tools for the new shop.

Adjuster says it's totaled, too much structural damage to the A pillar  all the way down into the rocker, as soon as she walked to the drivers side of the car she was like "ohhh it's gone", couldn't believe the driver's window which was down at the time of the accident was not broken.

Thanks Ken, after all they are what we make them and that too me is part of why I like Mavericks, it's the fun part, making what you want of them.

Were you able to discuss the possible buy-back of the car with the agent today or was it too soon for that?

This was just the adjuster, she has nothing to do with it other than evaluating condition, they will contact me in a couple of days when they get it processed.

Dang, hope everything comes out ok with the insurance company! im in washington state currently rebuilding a 77 302 maverick I bought at the insurance auction after it was totaled for very minor damage,I was not aware that in some states you cant re register a car with a salvage title,I was told in my state you can after an inspection at the state patrol, hope thats true or im going to be screwed!

    You better read this:
    http://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistration/salvaged.html

Around here, once a car is totaled, and it's reported, it'll never see the road again.

Can't get a title at all on a Mverick in Alabama unless it's a '77 model and this is the last year you can get one for a '77 (no motor vehicle more than 35 years old). Also by statute you can't get a title for a snowmobile in Alabama... Didn't know there WERE snowmobiles in Alabama. Guess someone might own one to trailer somewhere else for use ... just made me chuckle to see they included that. Snow? I've been wearing shorts for the last three months!
