The only reason that they scrap them is that, during the getaway, they realize that their feet are getting wet. I don't think the theives want to fix those damn cowls :rofl2:

By the way fellers just after midnight i'm going to get my camera and take pictures of what i did with the Comet and post 'em as soon as possible. As of right now it's raining a little bit but no snow. Maybe i can get some cruisin' pictures, should be fun (well sorta). Anyone else going to post some pictures of the event? Remember we are headed into another decade in the 21st century. Hey 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's and 10's come on that's gotta be worth a picture or something.

Of course some of you all have a life where you go out on New Years Eve and won't be back till the morning (sigh, i remember those days before the kids). So take the pictures the next day, either way show your Mavericks and Comets some New Years love or at the very least go give the old girl a hug or something. :jumping::party4::party::cheers::cheers::cheers2: O.K. now i'm a little drunk.

Gonna leave the car in the garage, so no New Year's drunk can wreck it while I am out riding around. Gonna be a quiet night at home.

If it is nice out tomorrow, might go for a drive, as there is no snow here yet.

The Green GT and I will be down here in S.C. getting some much needed sleep, hopefully! :thumbs2:

All of mine are going to bed early, covered up under car covers inside. Gotta work tomorrow, so they will stay under covers waiting for a major cold front coming in this weekend. I put the Comet GT on the back burner so that I could get the 2 Cougars ready for the Silver Springs show next weekend. Temps going down into the low to mid 20's this weekend. Brrrrrrrr, this is supposed to be Florida, not Canada!!!!!

As to me, I doubt I will even see the new year come in. Us old farts can't stay up that late!!

    Happy New Year to all.

    Am I an old fart?

We pop off a couple bottles of bubbly, watch a couple episodes of 2 and a half men, and go to bed by 10.

    Are we "old"?

I spent a few hours in the garage today finishing the prep on my floors. The I masked everything up and sprayed 2 coats Of PPG's DPLF epoxy. In the morning I am going back out to seam seal a few areas and then paint it all. That is my new years.
