i would have your friend get a disk brake kit, lsd, bearing kit, and gear set for your 8" and stick it in the shiping container. or get a full third member off ebay and have that shiped in the container with the disk brakes. you can find ones that are rebuilt with a lsd for around $600 on there. if you are going to be building a high powered car for performance use there is a member on here that sells 9" housing made to bolt into the maverick. it uses the 8" axles and brakes. so you could use the same disk brake kit. just get a 9" thirdmember from ebay. those are the best options i know of for your situation.
