The Ignition lock assembly thst I took in to a locksmith seems to have been declared "beyond Repair". Do any of Y'all know where I can get a black steering column assembly (complete w/ key) for a REASONABLE price? My "DEROS PROJECT" is a '71 Comet w/ black interrior, Auto trans w/ column shift, no cruise control or tilt...kafrompa

If you have your existing key cylinder out of the column....all you have to replace is the key cylinder. No need to replace the entire steering column. I can sell you a ignition cylinder, with a key, and matching door locks. Email me DIRECTLY (see below) if I can help.

Finished welding around the floor panels, which needed to be done very urgently. Also finished chipping off the crusty segments of old dash pad stuck to the dash.

Ordered carpet, new dash pad & steering wheel. Feel pretty accomplished, to spite only putting in about an hour of time. ;-)
