Pulled the 351w again, trying to get the headers to fit still, a few dents here and there and I might make it, I have put this engine in and out of the car so many times, I should have some little Mavericks running around soon!

Id check and see if it already has a traction lock and gears first jmho

And to make it maverick lenght and to center the pinion you need a second short side axle and to have it narrowed

Took my brother in law for a spin. First time he has been in it since the new motor has been put in. It was his great grandmother's car, so there is a special bond between him and the car.

    He was quite surprised!

I asked if he thought his new wife might like a ride and he said "Oh HELL YES, stay in the driveway, I will get her a$$ out here immediately!"

I did one of those burnout fade into drifting around a corner and into our lane, and then wide open throttle to 6500 rpms, second gear, until we hit 80, then 3rd gear and settle into cruising mode before the cops caught wind of us moves, and she was grinning ear to ear!

Oh, I forgot I even HAD the hat cam! It is in the glove box in the boat. Probably has a dead battery by now.

I need to get it out and recharge it!

I have been meaning to hat-cam a wakeboarding session...since LAST April, and just plain forgot it was in there. :slap:

Pic or two from the ride yesterday with sister-in-law...

she is one of those rockabilly people, or whatever that sub-culture is called. The tattooed, ride around in old primered cars, red lipstick, no tan, you know what I mean. She wants to pose with my mav for a calendar she does with her friends in Virginia. So more pics should follow.
