Ran it for a little bit today, man that engine sounds sweet!! gotta finish up all the little things like wire looms, touch up paint on engine and relocate modulator box and get the altenator hooked up in the proper alignment for the belt, contain some wires that are running everywhere and hook up the sending units along with gauges.

What did you decide to blast with? Glass, sand, soda? I'm new to this blasting thing and plan on to do some this winter with my car

Oh and I took it out for a drive after work and still may go to tim hortons for a coffee, heard back from comp cams today about there cam suggestion aswell, they suggested there largest hyd. Flat tapper cam, 305-ah I believe? Prostreet/bracket race
The thing is.. It has .558 lift and my heads spec sheet says max lift of .560, but I have valve reliefs in my pistons.. So should the clearance be alright? I know I should check the PvC but the shipping either way does add up so id rather have someone that knows, tell me 'it should' or 'probably not'

Got motor mounts finished bolting in, got idler arm back in place, stuck radiator in it (Champion and have the same problem everyone else has with the petcock) now needing information on how to hook up the electric fan.

Today I put new plastic loom over the wires that I had to expose to replace and test the MSD box. Cleaned out some more excess wiring from previous mods. Mounted the MSD box with their rubber mounting pads. And replaced the thermostat relay assembly for the electric fan with a standard relay. Seems like its always hot enough in Arizona for the fan to run so no need to run it through a temp controlled relay again, the old one quit working anyways.

Car is now road worthy once more. Next project will be installing the black rear seat, black rear seat surrounds, black kickpanels, and black visors. should look nice when its done.

Put the bench seat in, took it out for a test drive, did about a 150yd burnout through all 3 gears:chirp:. On the way back home I had a guy on a motorcycle tailgating me so I floor it and pull away from him, put like 5 car lengths on him, after I let out he passes me at a high rate of speed, gets to a stop sign as he's making the turn he looks back at my car and has a WTF just happend look on his face:rofl2:
