Nope BFH with nut on upside-down, two whacks & it was over with, I did support the arm with a bottle jack...

I've pulled the steering box as well because the grease is all but dried out, gonna wash it out, refill and set preload... Still have to rebuild the P/S unit dunno if it's going to be '72 pictured or the '77 unit I have, I am using the '77 center link & inner tie rods...

Found about 15-17 small bumper Mavericks in the junkyard that I didn't know about.

I stared cleaning the shop so I can get it in there to finish installing the nos cheater kit. I also bought some patriot 185 heads last night for it. I am building a new 351w with good rods and forged pistons, I will install the patriot heads and my intake to. In the meantime I plan to build out how fast the old junky 351w that's in the car can run before I shatter the pistons lol

Not gonna say I did anything to it, but I attempted to fix the speedo (wont know till a test drive and it's raining here for the next few days), attempted to fix the throttle cable (not too happy there, it seems I am gonna be governed for a while) had to use six cylinder cable and not getting full throttle from it, and attempted to pull the wheels in so they don't look like this /.....\ until I can get it to the alignment shop.

Well I moved out of my parents place a few years ago and since then I had filled my old bedroom with comet/Mav parts... This is the largest room in the I place and in the basement.. Dad wants a larger "gun room" now so I'm moving and cleaning up parts.. Not sure what I'm going to do with all the stuff I've collected already lol. Maybe ill be able to work on the comet today.. I hope.
