Cleaned & painted front stabilizer bar, finished up the brake lines, installed complete steering system with P/S valve & cylinder, plus about 19 little piddly things... Oh yea it resting on it wheels again for first time in probably four months...

I'll stick some fresh pictures in my project thread probably tomorrow...

Did the late model starter upgrade. The original stuck open and had to go. Clean easy upgrade...glad there was a tech article on it! $120+tax at O'Reilly's for the brand new/lifetime warranty. :thumbs2:

spent a good hour and a half pull off the back brake drum. I think they are from a granada, then afixiated myself on brake cleaner (California approved) and am now wondering if some rust on the hydraulic part of the rear drum is ok or not? its been sitting around before i bought it from the guy and well I hate to rip things apart and worry about not finding the right parts after I do so.

so should i just pull off all the units and replace the ones that are often replaced? the pads are perfect. it has maybe 100 miles on the pads yet the hydralic unit is 15 years old. yes it has only been driven a few miles each year :)

Looking good Levi - made me remember that you asked me a long time ago about my down bars from my firewall to the front of my frame. Do you still need any measurements for that or do you have a plan?

Bkelley and I went junkyarding and pulled a very nice factory A/C box from a 69.5 Maverick. No cracks in the case, nothing rusting inside.
