Took the front tires off and attempted to clean up the wheel wells. Drained my fuel cell and started loosening thing up so I can replace all the mounting hardware and get it in place more securely.

As Resto said I did some Un-Doing to my car today. Its funny how it takes all day to put in a Nitrous kit but only take 20 minutes to take it out. After meeting Resto and waving goodbye to my old stuf I went and worked on my Mustang for the next 10 hours. I think the maverick is getting jealous.

I take out distributor for cleaning and service and unfortunately broke two bushings that holds weights for mechanical advance:cussing: change points and condensator. I also cleaned up carburator and i realized it is an Autolite 2100D and do some research about adjusment. but can't find yet replacement, gasket kit

Finally got the 347 running pretty well. Guess the loaner Mallory distributor needs 12V to the coil, even though Mallory instructions show an 8V option. The MSD Blaster 2 coil instructions say it MUST have a ballast resistor or resistor wire but I'll run it at 12V till I can get it back to the engine builder and swap in the Pertronix dist. Will replace the MSD coil with a Pertronix coil that is recommended for that distributor.

Also washed the Mav and may put a little wax on it too.
