Made a trip down to Bradenton,Fl. and met Joe (shinysideup) Picked up a near perfect windshield and a really nice rear bumper for my 72 comet... Also picked up two pair of door sill plates and he gave me a hood emblem for my comet hood... It was a good day :yup:

Finished notching a big bumper fender and sanding the toughest paint I even seen in my whole life. Took 11 sheets of 80 grit paper on the D/A to get the paint off one fender.

I didn't take many, hope you get an idea. I had an early fender to make a cardboard template. I scored the line for the fold with a Dremel so it would fold straight. I also had to drill another hole for the valance on the bottom lip of the fender.

    Nice (y)
I have 2 small bumper fenders, I was going to make templates off, and do the same thing.

Finally finnished the engine bay.. Both towers cut all welded and painted.. Wired 80% of it, all new front suspension parts and put fenders back on, but now I have a question, I want to switch to an alternator from a 97 mustang GT, do I need that cars wiring or can I use my existing alternator wiring?

Thanks, that looks awesome. I would only do it if I had a template. Seems like a silly question but did you score it on the outside? If so it must have been ever so slight. Thanks for posting the pics.

After a while of not working on it due to stupidly breaking both my collar bones >.> I decided to go in and work on my 63 comet conv project, (with bones still broken mind you) and while pulling the dashboard knobs n whatnot out a dead rat fell on my chest and I slammed my shoulder/head into the dashboard at the sight of it... fml -_-

I started work on the vent cowl, undercaoted the area behind the front fender, primed and painted some on the body and painted the doors on my 75.

Just scored a NOS heater control valve on ebay. :bananaman:yippee: It wasn't cheap but compared to some it wasn't expensive either. It's exactly the same as the seized rusty one I took off my car but mine didn't have any markings on it.
