    It's really not that hard to accomplish. Just air the tires up with helium. :huh:

    wow, sorry guys, my son posted the glass a** thing. and the actual weight is 2250 with my butt in the seat. hes young and obnoxious, but werent we all once? yes, its all glass. tube chassis, aluminum small block. ive cut off everything possible to shave ounces.

    My Car weighs 2,910 without me in it with a Half cell of gas (about 8 gallons) I have a 6 point cage, full interior and a 9" rearend that adds to the weight. I have aluminum heads, But the tunnel ram and 2- 4bl. set up with the hilborn scoop make the weight saving right back up.

    my car is back halfed with a 302 iron heads and a c-4 with a 10 point cage. The weigth is 2840 with me in it.

    Don't worry...I tell everyone I weigh every bit of 84 pounds, two or three times over...:rofl2:keeps my car "light"

    I was told mine was 2600-2700 lb. range (without me of course)...i've since put the Comet on a diet (easier than me giving up cheeseburgers)

    Reading this thread is depressing me...
    I only used to cost my car 18.5 rwhp by driving it.
    Nowadays I lose 24 rwhp just by getting in, and I have a whole lot less engine in this Mav... :(

    One of my Maverick's weight is measured in ounces......but it only cost 2.44 at Wal-Mart!! :hide: I don't know what my driver Maverick weighs.....I didn't know that it took 2 scales under each tire.....I'll hafta go try it again......It weighs AT LEAST 130 lbs though.......with me in it!! :D
