Was changeing a heater control cable on a friends wifes Jeep YJ one time and when i went to remove the glove box i found her....how do i say this.....ummm "battery operated boyfriend?" Still never told him about that.

Bought a Ford van off of a lady for the 351w but the deal was i had to take all the "garbage " inside along with it.Once we got the first layer of crap off we found 2 floor jacks, stands,a Craftsman top box loaded with tools, misc power tools all kinds of parts.I did the right thing and went back and told her about it and she just said I told you all the garbage went with it.So I didn't argue.

We had a thread like this a few years ago.

I've found all kinds of stuff...

In my '74 Grabber I found two boxes of hand gun bullets, old Gulf gas station brochures and Florida maps from the 70's, some business cards from some plumbing place in Dublin, GA, a match book from a Shoney's restaurant, cigarette butts, a peppermint, lots of rat s#!t and a dead rat under the back seat!

In my '73 4 door , I found a bunch of newspapers form Gainesville, GA (the car was used to deliver newspapers), and unopened bag of pretzels that expired in 1999. The previous owner, who's parents bought the car brand new, lost the trunk key a long time ago. I've owned the car since May of 2005 and still never bothered to try and get the trunk open, no telling what, if anything, is in there. Maybe Jimmy Hoffa? :rofl2:

Absolutely nothing in my other '73 4 door.

In my '69.5, I found absolutely nothing in the interior other then a speaker grille off an old Pioneer speaker, it was behind the rear plastic arm rest panel on the left side, it had an old alternator, and a box of misc. bolts and nuts in the trunk.

'73 2 door, I found an unopened bag of M&M's from 1989 under the rear seat, they had totally turned to dust, I found some sort of a cushion type thing in the trunk that had some real estate company's name on it from South Carolina, some guy's work I.D., a Christmas music casset tape, an old AM/FM/casset head unit, a South Carolina license plate that expired in 91, and an old empty Orange Crush bottle in the trunk, which had a 1992 expiration date on it.. There was also some old transmission fluid bottles in the trunk, which the plastic had turned brittle and cracked, leaking transmission fluid all over the trunk floor. Redneck rust proofing. :rofl2:

In my '72 beater, I found mouse crap and an empty Marlboro carton in the interior, a condom wrapper under the back seat, in the trunk was some empty Budweiser beer cans, some corn husks, and a bunch of saw dust and wood chippings. :hmmm:

    Not Mavericks, but...

In my '71 F250, I found a teachers name tag (named Carl Jones) from some high school in Covington, GA. and an insurance card from 1993 with the address of where the truck was registered then, to the same Carl Jones. I drove by there one day a while back when I was in Convington, and there was an old man out working in the yard, I'm pretty sure he was the same guy. A mid 90's F250 sat in the driveway.

In my '68 F100 parts truck, I found TONS of empty cigarette cartons and cigarette butts, and the entire bed was full of whiskey bottles and beer cans. I've owned that truck since 2004, and it STILL smells like alcohol. The guy I bought it off of (for $100) was the hick of all hicks. :biglaugh:

In my brother's '92 Sentra, I found a picture of some little kid inside the dash when I took it apart to change the heater core, a really big bullet that is about 3 1/2 inches long and as big around as your finger was under the seat.

My '80 Capri RS had a bunch of Marlboro cartons in it as well. Who ever owned must of have been a very heavy smoker. There is like a filmy build up on the inside of all the windows and on the dash from someone smoking in the car.

Nothing else in any of my other vehicles.

I really didn't find much in my '76 Comet, only some really old cigarette butts in the ashtray that i would say go back to the late '70's or early '80's and under the carpet all i found was little bits of matching material from the headliner. Under the front drivers seat i found a paper in the seats spring which was useless as it was completely blank. That's all.

My 72 Comet had a trailer hitch.

My 71 Comet has evidence of 4 or 5 previous accidents hiding under the paint and it was only a 9 year old car at the time.

In a junkyard 73 Mav ... after getting ticked off for forgetting to bring my 3/8th deep socket with me ... found a standard 3/8th and a deep 3/8th socket in the back seat ... no other sizes ... just what I needed ... along with three 7/8th open end wrenchesm all different brands ... weird ... why would someone have three ...

In another car (that rhymes with "1974 FireTurd")... it was my ex-wife's, I found a very old-looking $100 bill under the passenger seat ... whoo-hoo! ... paid for the nasty carpet that I was replacing at the time ... :dancing:

i pulled the rear pannels out of my comet and found an old shoe from the 70's. found an unopened fresca can from the 70's stuffed inbetween the rear seat in a 74 4 door parts car i had thought that was a little strange. the fresca had eaten a hole right through the can. tell you that it's not fit to drink.

My sons first car was a 78 Fairmont and he blew the 4cyl. and a tow'er buddy of mine had a 79 Fairmont with a 6cyl that was wrecked and "abandoned 'for like a year and he said I could have it,no keys.I brought it home and it sat for a few months and my kid's needed a deck lid, same color,I pulled the back seat and told him how to unbolt trunk lock,he said Dad there's a bunch of boxes in the trunk,we cut the braces and started pulling out about 1500.00 worth of tools, power saws, wood tools, wrench sets, socket sets, you name it,the guy must have been a handyman, all Craftsman and almost new,I couldn't believe someone would just leave it there,of course I told the kid, this was all mine!!!

In my 86 Bronco I found not one but Two build sheets. Only ones I've ever found. I probably found the one in my 71 F100 since my dad bought her new but I bet I threw it away.
