Not really the same thing but I did a center chunk change in my F100 once. About a year later I pulled it to install the 3.25 with the lock rite in it. In the bottom of the housing I found my 9/16" Craftsman wrench.
It had a few grind marks on it but that is all. Glad it never found that sweet spot to lodge. lol

    Funny this should come up.
We bought a Certified 2007 Edge last year and Sunday, the day after I was out with a Pal for St. Patrick's Day, my wife found a woman's button sitting in the center of the Passenger's front floor mat. Needless to say there were a few questions.
In all truth, I have no idea how it got there because, other than my wife, I haven't had a woman riding in my cars for quite a long time (I'm 66). The best I can think of is that, when returning home on Saturday, I nailed the brakes very hard when doing my annual check of the ABS system (no, I don't test the air bags), the button must have come out from under the seat, which was there since before we bought the car.

Did that satisfy my wife? Just what the heck do you think?

Wonder how long I'm going to hear about this.

Ok that "rust and plenty of it " was pretty frigging funny!! I found a 68 penny stuck to the inside of the drivers door of my 68 shelby. stupid is as stupid does...I just laughed and threw it aside somewhere, never to be found again. Should have kept it. could have been some good luck charm. It was actually stuck to the sound deadner, heads out. Haven't found anything cool in the Mav, but too much done to it before i got it I guess.

Strange Things Found in a Vehicle.

When I was a district manager for Matco Tool Company I went to inquire about a large truck at a truck rental place and they had me go out to the lot to look at a 28 foot box truck and when I opened the door a very rotten dead man's head fell out the door, he had been it the truck for over several weeks in the hot Texas sun.

I did not rent that truck.

Reminds me of when I worked at Hertz!! We use to store the cube vans out behind the "Men's Mission" One day we went over to move a few to the main lot, we pulled open the back door to find some lady servicing some guy from the mission....:rofl2:

When I bought my car, there were 5 cats nesting in the back seat. I gave away the kittens, kept the Mom as a shop cat for the shop I was using. Left the cat when the shop was sold. She was a good mouser.

Don't know if this counts but a friend of mine and I have a mustang we bought back when we were kids. Like 20 years ago. It had 73 bumpers and a 351w. What we found was a s/n that says the car is a "J" code car. 429scj. Still have the car. Oh ya its a 71.
