What to do with my Maverick?

    I would have let it go for 3K. Got close at the live auction, but no cigar. It will be a fun project to test out some ideas on...I'll keep you posted...

    I sure appreciate a well preserved stock car, but I am kinda into modifying things. Here are a couple photos the car that resides next to the Maverick.

    I built a Jeep for the street, and now a Maverick for the dirt. I think I am sensing some flaws in my reasoning!

    Why be normal?

    wow $3k sounds incredible I paid $2k for my comet gt and it wasnt as nice as that car

    '72 Maverick, 347 c.i., w/ dual quads, TKO 600 5-speed transmission, back halved w/ 4-link, '16 F150, 5.0 Coyotte, regular cab, shortbed, lowered 3/5 & 1-owner '79 Trans Am.
    If you did some shade of orange or yellow accent color ala Grabber-esque it could look different and you wouldn't have to repaint the whole car.
