    i went to jegs and found some heads.....but nothing there for $550 for a set of heads...i even called them and they dont have anything in a gt40p....

    Yeah, Jegs was selling them for Ford Racing. Ford discontinued the GT40P after they started putting modular motors into Explorers. You can still find people that have them for sale, though. Some distributors stocked up on them when they knew they weren't going to be made anymore.

    Or you could find an Exploder motor in a junkyard... someone is bound to have rolled one or got t-boned or something and left the engine intact.
