Pretty much hit the nail on the head for me.I like cool nostalgic details like Sun super tachs,SW gauges,Hurst shifters, slapper bars etc..stuff that was most likely put on the car in the 70's (Sorry no sidepipes or fog lights not my taste) Before someone jumpped on that :rofl2:

I don't like labeling (limiting) myself, but I do definately lean to Resto-modder Use the original style and character of the car, strengthen weaknesses, improve/update what the factory gave you, add your own touches/ideas/personality to drivetrain, chassis, and especially cosmetics and the "image" the car projects.

That would lend itself to Pro-Touring too, though I limit my taste in wheels to to 17s....18" max,....and 15's still do the job well. I've still got a streak of old-school and nostalgia in me too, but also like updated and hi(er) tech mixed in with classic style.

A suspension modified, road-hugging, EFI, 5-speed, lowered on 17 wheels Maverick sounds great....

So does an old-school, straight axel gasser Maverick.

And there's always something espcially impressive about a showroom original or restrored Maverick, but I can't afford a low-milage original, and don't have the patience/money/skill to restore one to that level of detail.

Voted Other because I am a little bit of all of the above Plus I just like to Drive mine back and forth to work like I did today. People still look at me wierd when I tell them I drive a 72 or 73 Maverick 56 miles round trip back and forth to work almost every day.

I tell them why not It's in goo mechanical shape (knock on wood) and people drove them every day when they were new why wouldn't I drive one today?

At the risk of sounding shameless and gory. But Jimmy if anything ever happens to you and you need someone to write into your will to take care of your Mavericks don't be afraid to ask me for my information. LOL.....

I'll Probably get a lot of **** for saying that but Just be known it was said in jest just because I drool all over my computer screen everytime I see that Blue car in you signature line

I'm working on getting it the way IMHO it should have been built. Mostly period correct mods. But, out of respect for the way they were built, most mods are easily reversed and I'm saving the parts at least for now.
