What would you do?

If given the option of cloning a Stallion, Sprint, or Grabber which would you choose?

  1. Stallion

    28.8%
  2. Sprint

    20.3%
  3. Grabber

    50.8%

clones are no fun, a knock off is still a knock off as far as im concerned.

once you get so far into altering it as much as you guys are talking about its not a clone, its your own hot rod the way you want it, it just happens to have the paint job of a factory special edition car

I would like to have the real thing, not a clone. I already have a Sprint and will be picking up my Grabber in a couple of weeks. I also like the Comet GT's, which you did not include. I would also like a Stallion. They are very nice, too, with the small bumpers. Dan's car is great looking. I would like a silver Stallion with Dan's car's features. Maybe some day.

I voted for Sprints because they brought me into this Madness! It is all good.

I'd rather just have Dans...to heck with all the work it would take to build it. I got enuff projects already. Ready to give it up Dan??? :)

if i had a base model maverick (which i do:)) i'd rather build it the way i wanted it. then again if i did have something special edition like a grabber or stallion i'd definatly feel obligated to restore it to original specs. nothing more, nothing less

iam making my cutlass a 442 clone once it hits the paint shop. and by clone i mean factory 442 decals :rofl2:

    Okay... here's the solution.
Build it just like Dan's, however...
Put white paint where the black is, leave the red outline, put Grabber blue where the bulk of the red is.
Now you have a Sprint, Grabber, and Stallion rolled into one! ;)

Btw: I tried to photochop it, but it got the best of me.

Nope, Dan's car is a true Stallion. He did the small bumper swap, and put a grabber hood and spoiler on it. Looks awesome!

How many color combinations were there for the Stallion? What combos are here on the Forums? Who owns them? Enquiring minds want to know.

I'm trying to remember...seems like I've seen photos of the red, yellow, silver, and maybe blue? Dan can probably tell you for sure.
    What about it Dan Starnes?
