At my house, the 1974 maverick is in the 2-CAR garage, and the 2000 supercharged bonneville, AND the 2004 Hemi Ram 1500 are both outside...Go figure. That is a joke amongst my family...I don't see what is all that funny about it.
Actually, that changed this year cuz last fall I converted the 69 Mustang to 70 bolt-in door glass, and I haven't found the quarter winder to line up so there is a big gap that let's the rain in. Also, after building my 393 stroker, I prefer to keep the Mustang inside to keep my thieving neighbors from helping themselves. Unfortunately, that meant putting the Mav outside, and the original dash cracked in the sun this year. If I had any idea that would happen, I would have used the car cover.
These pictures aren't the greatest, but here's some shots of my 2 car garage and the black hole of productivity.
Good grief man, you suck, showing us things most of us can only dream of. That's one sweet garage you have their Frank. When can I move in?
My Work Is Usually Done In My Yard, Driveway Or A Small Level Field Right Close To My House. Nothing But Me, The Car And The Dirt If I Had A Garage (Which I Will One Of These Days), I Wouldnt Know How To React,... LOL
The workshops and garage's some of you have are just great. My CC&R's prevent me from doing "major restorations or repairs" in the driveway or in the garage. One of the pitfalls of living in a townhouse. Then again, when I bought the house I never thought I would have a car hobby to feed. I "bend" the rules by working inside the garage. I figure it is no worst then the guy next door doing woodworking all summer and I only use hand tools and I make less noise then his wood cutting. So far no complaints and I am on good terms with my neighboors, so I hope to keep my little "skunk works" going for awhile.
