I agree with Corbin about the script. I figure some people arent into the race car thing ,and some dont much care for the stock /restored look... But we all like the script (but what about the Comet folks?) my .02 cents .;)

I'd have to ask about blue, but every cover they had, and they had numerous logos for cars from all of the 'Big 3', were either red or black. I believe that we'll likely have to stay with their stock colors.

    Don't worry about asking questions.

We'll have to stay with something more simple like the fender script with the steerhorn over the 'M'. The pix is cool, but they were doing more simplistic artwork on the covers.

I really appreciate the sentiment about making a buck on this, but that's not why I'm doing it. I'd have to jack up the price over what they are charging the general public for it and I don't want to do that. Otherwise, I'd probably have to order a quantity myself to resell and I don't want to find myself having to order more than I can resell. I'd just as soon have the orders go directly through them and they can send them to each of you ordering and that'll be that.

Oh yeah...as to the Comet folks, I guess it'll depend on how many want to order Comet script. I'll ask them about minumum orders.

Is it possible to put both the Comet and Maverick scripts on the same cover?

I'd be interested in a pair also.

Just an idea to solve the min. order requirements and satisfy both Maverick and Comet owners, how about the club logo?

They were doing one logo per cover. I'm sure you can understand why from a business standpoint.

I have no problem asking them about the MCCI logo, but I wasn't making this a club thing, more so just a Mav thing, unless that's what everyone is more interested in doing. Not everyone here is a member (at least I don't think so, but it would be nice if they were) so I felt this should be something that would appeal to everyone just because. I promise I won't forget about the Comet folks.

Again, as far as I'm concerned, majority rules on what goes on the covers before I contact the company. Personally, I'd like them to be able to appeal to most everyone rather than a cross-section of us. That's why I suggested the MAVERICK script logo as well as the COMET script.

I still need the clip art....someone??

I got my "Comet" fender cover, off of Ebay last year. I still see them come up once in awhile. It is very nice. I put in on my fender at car shows. Black in color...

Why cant they put both the Maverick & Comet script on the cover? then it would be universal to us. Then I would be interested.
