Ok folks ,i talked to Ken from Token performance fibreglass parts and he said that the Scoop inserts could be made in the hood as one unit ,so there will be NO scoop inserts needed .I think this is the way to go as i have been watching ebay and the scoop inserts go for 70.00 U.S or more depending on condition and this would just be a added expence and a lot of trouble to find them.

Will these be bolt on? I've got a fiberglass cowl hood right now, and it bolts to the original hinges in the rear, but I have Dzus fasteners for the front. I would think doing one of these hoods would be the same way, or is he going to try to make provisions to use the hood latch? And is the cowl tall enough to clear a Parker Funnel Web/Victor Jr style intake? Mine is pretty tall...

    Thanks

Mr Maxx Levell ,it is done, there will be one with your name on it .It appears that there are two other Americans ,possible three and yourself that want one of these hoods .I want two so that is 5 or 6,that is enough for the minimum order ,this project is going ahead .There will be a little set back time as the original hoods (plug ) clear has to cure befor i can have a mold built .I dont believe we will see the first hoods out till the middle of June.I will keep everyone informed thats interested as time goes on .I am forking out the whole bill on this project up front and if i get my investment back it was all worth it ,just to have the two i want.
