I just want to warn everyone that Jimmy emailed me indicating that he no longer wishes to participate on the forums.

I have to agree....the top looks way too flat imo.

I didn't read many of his posts but I did read the apology one where he admitted that alcohol had been controlling his life. I hit the bottle pretty hard myself after my divorce and I had alot of ups and downs. I said things I shouldn't have and acted irrationally. That could explain things a few things regarding Jimmy I guess...if so I hope he gets things worked out.

HI all, Being fairly new on here I am not aware of everything that has happened to arrive at the point of someone not wanting to participate on the forum I think it is a great place for somebody to converse with those who share the same interests. No matter how long you have been in this sport you just can't know it all and it is a good thing when you can get a worthy second opinion or multiples for that fact with the understanding that it is not coming from someone that has no experience. As for the hood design, somebody had to like it or it would not have been built in the first place. As for my personal taste I think that it is to busy. Creating something that has two distinctive designs instead of one takes away from the overall appearence and starts to complicate the flow of of the design. Does this make any sense?? :hmmm: No matter how well something is constructed, that alone can not make up for ones personal dislike for the design. And as for someones signature being on it, if the design isn't what you like chances are you still are not going to like it. Just a thought.

You missed alot of intresting times lol. I have wasted alot of time reading about some "intresting" characters on here. This is one to check out if you got time to waste. Like the time he got upset about the border patroll. Of course he did change and delete some posts.
Jimmy has a good heart tho so I too hope he gets it all worked out also..
    Be safe Jimmy!
lol.. kinda like my grill. Looks good in my eyes. Not too many like it.

Who cares, it's over. The worst part is the loss of other good members that left because of the drama that was caused.

Off topic, but it started a few years before that date...

Overall I don't think this is the place to discuss if you like the hood or not, when the person was allowed on the MMB, everyone was cheering him on, and now with him banned..your all saying you don't like it??? :hmmm:

Ok, back on topic. No I don't like it. I don't care that much for Grabber hoods, but that seemed like the long way around the mountain. There are already some good looking glass cowl hoods out there...why not just make a mold off of the Grabber scoops and glass them onto one of those for a high cowl Grabber hood?

Yep...I didn't say anything out of respect being a newb. But if the topic may be if I liked it or not, I can comment right. Just my 2 cents.
