Just an internet pic...I just thought that hood looked awesome. I want one if I ever put a V8 in my car.

To me it looks like the place to discuss anything pertaining to the hood (and a joke or two tossed in). He started this thread with a general discription as a discussion. Would it be better to start a thread asking if it is liked? My opinion has never changed and not everyone was cheering him, I wasn't. I admit that sometimes the topic is a little vauge or broad and this one seems to be one. I did like watching the progress unfold cause it is intresting to see what guys do to any part of our cars. I was hoping that maybe something would change that would help me to actually like the hood. Ideas and opinions change all the time too. He is also the one who quit us.
Those of you who like the hood..cudos. :tiphat:

Yes, that was Rick Books car. I guess he's going to be known for his hoods. My hood was started by him too. :)

It was not just one incident - and it was a decision that Stefan made and it would probably be best to just leave it at that.

Also, he has only officially been suspended for 30 days and he may or may not decide to return - that is up to him.

I thought that the hood was an interesting idea. Personally i wouldnt spend a crazy amount of money on it but still neat. I just like plane old grabber hoods. I too have not said if i wanted or would like to have one or if i had even liked it.

Mabey if i were to see it in person i would like it more but i would never concider mass producing more than 3 of them lol. Its just an idea that only a certain few could love. Putting a cowl on a flat hood would suit it better.

To Stefan and the Mods sorry to get off topic.....

Regardless what some of you think Jimmy is a really good dude. Is he out there a bit......YES!!!!How boring would it be if we were all the same?? I find it Ironic so many people here claim to be such good and perfect people(or implied through snide/holier than though comments). We all got skeletons in the closet. Some just hide the stuff better than others. Maybe Jimmy is an Alcoholic. Every body is addicted to something. Rather it be, Food, Poon, porn, alcohol, drugs, church and ahemmm MAVERICKS!! etc.....I could keep going. All I am saying is look in the mirror. Stop being internet tough guys.

I am not ashamed that I fell victim to my own demons. I have spent the last year redeeming myself and if Jimmy is in the same boat as I was......
Then I extend my hand in help. He needs help from his friends. If you aint his buddy then it would be best not to comment. You can as is your right say whatever you like but I just ask you think before you speak.

One thing I did find out when I was going through bad times and it shows in this thread you find out who your real friends are and aren't. I admit I was upset at first over the loss of a couple supposed good friends at first but "it turned out to be a blessing in disguise" ;)

If it makes you feel better pick on me leave Jimmy alone. I got broad shoulders these days.......

    Back on topic.....

I think the hood looks great. I would buy one if I did not already have a cowl hood alla maverick mans carbon fiber hood. Jimmy did a great thing. He made a promise to deliver a part for fellow maverickers. Can you say the same thing? very few here can and regardless of any issues I would rather have them here than some of the post whores that contribute nothing but BS and conjecture.

if you have an issue with this post PM me :yup:

Jimmy your a good man. Stay clean/sober. It's a long road to ruin and an even longer one back to sucess. I know you can do it if I can. That goes for any of you struggling with an addiction. You need somebody to talk to I am here.......
