would you do this

Pick a part sold a 05 with 180k miles and a 4.6L for 3 grand the other day. All it had bad was a crack rear fascia.

If I had any more room in my house I would have taken out a quick loan to buy it lol

 

LOL Same here, we already park 5 cars on the street(I live in an apartment.) Street sweeping days really suck!

 

So, according to the ad, it's a converted 6cyl non Grabber car, that also has a manual trans that grinds in 2nd. And the rear is welded up, If you drive it much it's gonna be broken/bent axles or the weld will break & screw up the carrier. Dangerous in the rain too. Depending on the rust (ad says this is an "almost" solid car)I'd be hard pressed to cough up 2500 for the car, let alone give up a fox 5.0 5spd car as well. What are you looking for? Daily driver? Toy? A car to flip & make a buck? If the answer is a driver or flip it I'd stay with the fox, even w/bad paint you could repair the motor/trans/tires w/good used stuff and sell it for around 3k or drive it. The Maverick has some cool things about it, but personally I'd have to get it painted and ditch the wheels/hood before I could stand to look at it too much. But that's just me, I'm a plain jane look kinda guy. If you can't trade for $500 or less(Mavs got trans problems too!) I'd walk away. JMHO
