    Well, it's a Maverick...a Maverick convertible...and very different...yep, one of a kind...I'd drive it in a heartbeat!!! :yup:

    A convertable Maverick would have been nice. A couple years ago I went to a Ford and Mercury car show and there was a display of new cars. One car was a black Grand Marquise 2 door convertable with the top down! It also had buckets seats, console and floor shifter. Also dual exhaust. This car was beautiful. To bad it did not make production!

    i stand corrected, just the other day i was tellin buddy of mine that i had never even heard of a convertable maverick cuz i was thinkin bout doin it to mine and now i notice this d**m thread is 2 years old already...oh well

    ya i have a friend that does body work and paint and stuff...i was thinkin of talkin to him seein how much an how long it would take to maybe do it if not that than chop the top like the black one that pictures of have been floating around here somewhere. I prefer 4 doors cuz dont see as many an can be made to look really good

    i agree. i think there's only one custom 4-door i've ever saw on these forums. everyone's all over the 2 doors so 4-doors aint as common. to be honest i don't really like the chop top in that pic of the black one, it's way to chopped for my liking. that's just my opinion though

    ya it was just something completly different done on a car thats not as popular as other cars lol but i dono if id wanna chop it as much cuz the car sits low enough to the ground that tryin to get in without hittin my head is hard enough as is hahaha
