Yes, I remember you. You came up after we parked and asked what motor we were running and my dad jokingly said "a 283 Chevy" and then we all laughed. Glad to know your still there. You should see me in a couple of weeks on a Wednesday night. I have not been out all year for one reason or another but last time out I broke the ring and pinion carrier. Its been replaced with a nodular case a spool and new axles. Where in Alington do you live? I live in Bedford near Trinity H.S. off of 183 and 157. I think I remember you saying you were helping your daughter with her Maverick. How is that going and do you still race your Mustang?

I'm near 287 and Sublett. The Maverick is getting closer, I'm storing it at a buddies house ( I moved this year, not much storage yet) Motor and trans almost ready, I may go get the car this week. I got her a 75 Comet (nice!) and she has been driving it. The Mustang is almost ready too, I need to finish mounting a radiator in it. I've been playing with R/C planes more than anything this year. Pylon Racing is pretty fun, I have one we clocked at 134mph. Maybe by the time you come out it will be under 100 dgrees!

I like this post simply because a lot of dormant Texas Mav owners have spoken up. :bananaman
