I was driving down the road and all of the sudden I started hearing a clicking noise. I came to a stop sign and when I put on the brakes, there was a grinding sound which was similar to a metal on metal sound when your shoes are gone. It sounded like it was coming from the right rear and the whole car has about 10k miles on the breaks. I pulled away from the stop sign and it felt like something slipped a little but then it was fine. Anyone else had this happen? Is it possible that maybe the axle slipped out a little and the brake shoes didn't line up with the drum?
