Do yourself a favor and swap to the 5 lug axle from a donor Maverick/Comet...the 7.5 (six cyl) axle you currently have will not stand up to the torque of the 351...It may cost a little more right now, but it'll pay for itself soon enough (no expensive towing bills when that 4 lug breaks...and it will)! This will also give you LOTS of wheel options!
: I have a 351 in a 72 mav that is in need of more traction. Unfortunately I have stock 4-lug wheels, and 225/70R14's. Is there such a thing as 4-lug 14x7's? I didn't see any in the Summit Racing book. But I really want to go low cost as possible.
