A buddy of mine just got his replaced for $250, it wasn't a Mav but I figured it would be more than that for a Mav because they aren't as common. Either he got taken or you got a screaming deal or a little of both. What's the name of the people that did your's for $83? I'd pay $83 in a heart-beat to not have to waste a Saturday on something that I would probably screw up anyway. Thanks for the tip (even if it did come with a T.L.-esque slam in the subject line).
: I cracked my windshield (i didn't have the patience to take it out, apparently). It cost a grand total of $83 to have the guy come to my house and put a new one in ($83=windshield plus installation). He actually broke the first one he brought....it just goes to show how temperamental glass is. I would really recommend having a pro do it, even if htey don't sell you the glass at least you have insurance that if it breaks they pay. I'm not saying that it's not possible to do, but after my experiences i wouldn't touch anything glass again.
