I cracked my windshield (i didn't have the patience to take it out, apparently). It cost a grand total of $83 to have the guy come to my house and put a new one in ($83=windshield plus installation). He actually broke the first one he brought....it just goes to show how temperamental glass is. I would really recommend having a pro do it, even if htey don't sell you the glass at least you have insurance that if it breaks they pay. I'm not saying that it's not possible to do, but after my experiences i wouldn't touch anything glass again.
