I've got a quick question on you finding the car...you found it?? I've always wondered, when i see a car along side of the road...will the city ever just let you "take it"? I mean, half the times they just have it towed to be crushed. There's a really nice chrysler cordoba at a restaurant an ex of mine works at (we still talk, amazingly...)...the glass is all smashed in and the car has surface rust/ruined paint, but the interior is absolutely perfect and so is the body (not dented). It would be great to fix up, it's stripped of all ID's except VIN...been there for a while.
