: :I have the engine dimensions for the big block Fords if you want them, weight & size.

: Even have a link to Rod & Custom on my web page. I'd love to have a big block in my Mav. Just don't know which one. My brother use to have a 427. That would have been really nice!!!

: : : :jeep43, wow factor from a 4 banger, yeah right,
: : : You want a WOW FACTOR, put a Boss 351 or a 460 in that bitch. use a ROD & Custom Motorsports front end (Nov,99 Mustang & Fords Mag) and put one of those bad boys in there and you will be the meanest mother on the block, use a C-4 for either engine, because they do make them boys and girls for the Cleveland & 460s, a 9" rearend and then you can go hunt for bear. Otherwise what's so special about a four banger? And just wait till you open the headers up. Bigger is always better when it comes to cubic muscle.

: : : I'd like to swap in a later model ford motor into my '73 Mav for reliability and "wow factor" purposes.

: : : : Has anybody tried putting a 2.3L 4cyl turbo from a T-bird turbo coupe into a maverick or comet? I saw the guy in hot rod mag who put one in a Pinto and I think it looks like a cheaper cool swap (no N2O though).

: : : : The problem I see is the side mounted turbo hitting the pass side shock tower.

: : : : Any thoughts.
