Hey this guy might sound like hes full of crap, but he is pretty much right on the money. Stock form turbos from the factory don't have a lot of tuned stuff in em, but the sky is the limit with a properly set up turbo. Get it tuned right, suspension set up right, and the thing will scream. Look at the Buick GNX from 86, it had a speed limiter on it. The federal govt ordered 500 of em with 200+ chips in them for DEA agents to use. These things were V6's and they out ran all factory cars that year. V8s are great, you can build em hot, but fact is V8 development is nearing extinction in most respects. Love the more is better idea, but realize, more is not always better.
Besides, lets all just get along. Cars are a common thread and on this site Mavs are, so lets not argue amongst ourselves. I'd like to see a turbo'd Mav, not a 2.3 necessarily, but it would make a good starting point, and would have that hair dryer scream to be heard miles away....
