The last couple of Expo Ford's held at National Trails Raceway Park in Columbus, Ohio has featured a 13 second 6 cyl Maverick. You first notice it is different because the huge Harwood hoodscoop is off to the side. Then the announcer announces that it is a 300 6 cyl Maverick. Then you notice the sound (Yes, it sounds like a lawnmower). When it ticks off 13 seconds, you literally have to pick everybody's jaw up off the ground. I have it on video tape, and you can hear the crowd gasp when it wins. So it can be done!!
