Merc Capri "possi" rear

I had about 10 minutes to run through the Ford section at Pick 'N Pull today to spin the axels and look for a "possi" rear. The only thing I found was an '84 Capri. Did they have the 8.8" rear? I got the tag of the rear. (S274F) then (L73 A75 4L13) I don't suppose the 3rd member is a drop in replacement but I thought I'd check. What year Mustangs/Pintos or anything else have the trac-loc rear that will swap into a Mav? Is spinning the axle and seeing if they both spin the same way an accurate way of testing for it? How much can I expect to pay for a new 3rd member if I can't find one at the yard? They're only $40 at the yard.
