If you wany a Lima engined (460) Maverick...BUILD IT and do it for YOURSELF and no one else!!! I am currently building a Maverick in the style that is now called "Pro Touring" alot of people told me I am nuts for doing the things to "..just a Maverick..." that I am and I just remind them that it is my car (funny thing is that these will be the same people surrounding the car at shows and cruise nights when it is done praising it!!!!!!!!!). I to am doing an unusual engine swap ( I have seen a 429 SCJ{lima engine} in a Mav as well as a Cammer and a Boss 429, they were both old pro stockers) I am planning on using a four cam 4.6 (Cobra or Contineltal Mark VIII) but all we have had here through the yard has been the 2 cams. I do have my eye on a supercharged 4.0 V6 that is in a Saleen Explorer (?!) that my dad bought for so cheap that it would make you sick (less than the supercharger cost and it is rebuildable!!!) I might consider that to get the car done for this years POWER TOUR. Depending on your budget you may want to consider a Mustang II front suspension to help with the header clearance problems ( I am using one but for other reasons as well!)
