I had the same problem with my grabber, I tok all the innards out and cut out the metal all around the rust and riveted new sheet metal in, then I rubberized it top and bottom. I also had a significant amount of rust int the upper front corners of the floor pan, right up where there is MAJOR frame stuff, that was repaired by once again cutting out the metal adn welding in 16 gauge sheet
