Hey guys,
here's a question that I haven't seen posted before
(If i've overlooked,please excuse me). I have a 1973
Maverick, 2-D, 302,C4. I went to have the diff serviced
and was told that I had a 2-piece differential, the
front piece being an overdrive unit. I've heard of OD
diff units, but always thought they were aftermarket.
Is this possibly a factory unit, or did such beasts
exist? Any input is greatly appreciated.
