Yeah Jim is right on MPH, I forgot I had NO traction, the last time i was on the strip, therefore i made all my time and speed once i was into 3rd gear, High horse 302 in mine pulled 98 mph thru the traps but with lousy et's in 14.04 -14.84 times. In other words I was able to rebound somewhat due to the horsepower of my engine.

: It's hard to say without knowing tire size and rear end set-up. Assuming you get traction at the starting line, your engine, with street tires, should be able to get you in the low 14's/92-95 mph. With slicks, high 13's @ about 95 mph. The 3.00 gear is going to hurt you at the starting line (too much tire slippage) and without the hp in the engine, not really help you at the top end either (your RPM's at the finish line will be too low - with a 28" tire it'll be around 3400 RPMs - well below peak hp and torque of your engine).
:

: Someone in the past here asked everyone what their 1/4 mile times were, and I was just wondering if anyone has had any improvements and what are some times I should expect. My car is a 70 with 302, C4, Holley, Edelbrock intake, flamethrower coil,2 chamber Flowmasters, Hedman headers, open element air filter, my engine has been rebuilt and has stock size bore,10:1 comp. ratio, cam specs:.424 intake,.448 exhuast, duration: 260 intake, 270 exhuast, and 3.00:1 rear gears. Thanks
