Warm meaning heat?? Since you changed manifold you probably used a different thermostat?? Possibly you put in too warm of one? Or maybe the one you used is not closing? Or (hope not) maybe you forgot to put in thermostat at all. (happened to me once ) I use a 160 degree stat all year. Dan

: I just put in a new manifold and Holley 4bbl in my '73 302. It has just started to get really cold and snowy here in the KC area, and when i started it up this morning, it took a really really long time to warm up. I had to put on a new breather since the carb sits lower now, but that's the only other change. My car was on fast idle in the driveway for a good 10-15 minutes before it got warm. Now it has gotten much colder the past couple days (25-35F), but I don't remember it taking that long to warm up last winter. Is there anything that may be preventing my car from warming up as fast as it should be (other than my parents using up BOTH garage spaces)? Thanks

: Chris
