: If you havent replaced the condenser replace it first. Otherwise,

: You checked all the major components, but did you put a fuel guage on to check pressure? Check volume as well. Sounds like it could be a fuel delivery problem. Also, check for spark while the engine is turning over and check for 12V at the coil. -CP

A condenser is either good or bad, there's such thing as a condenser getting weak or "going out"!Check fuel volume? who has a flow meter on there engine?

: : Hi, I replaced my head gasket in my 1973. My mechanic friend and I got it running. I drove it five miles to work, left it sitting there for four days. When I went to take it home again it started right up and half way home, 2.5 miles, it started lugging like it wasn't getting gas. When I pressed on the gas it felt like it wanted to die. I barely made it home and now it won't run. We have checked the gas, replaced the fuel filter, checked the spark plugs and wires. Checked the points, set the timing to static, and charged the battery. We also checked the carburator to see if the float was stuck, nope. So any ideas on how to get my yellow baby back up and running would be fabulous. I know it has more years left on it but not if it sits in my garage. So thank you guys for any ideas. :-)
