Okay, i went to a shop in town that does a bunch of "hot rodding" to cars shall we say. i told the guy that i needed to do a tune up and i wanted to make it a "high performance one". i said like wires, plugs, dist, cap, starter, all that. he gave me a estimate for a bunch of stuff. is it a fair estimate though?
Cap+Rotor = $25
Elec. Dist = 120
MSD Box = 145 w/rev limiter $185
Starter Coil (MSD) = $35
Wires/Plugs (MSD) = $65
This is just a quote for the prices. I don't know if this is stuff that i with my limited knowledge can do in my garage or if I should just have them do it because they know the stuff? What do you all think? are the prices fair? Would it be best to have them do it? i want my mav to run the best i can and i know that it will take a while, but i gotta start somewhere so i figure this is the best place to start. Oh, and if you need to know my mav is 74 4door 302.... THANKS GUYS!
