85 Ford Van, 351W HO, towed my dads car to Columbus, got about 11, EFI might get 15, but that's pushing it. Econoline's EPA figure is only 18 hwy with the 4.6L, that is not towing either. He has a point about the milage, though, It might be cheaper to rent a van, even cheaper to borrow one! -CP
: I have a 1988 Ford Truck with a 351W. When I pull my Maverick...I get 10 mpg. I don't think a van could double that.

And the go rent a Econoline or something....You could sleep in the van confortably, eat truck stop food, and it would be alot cheaper than a U-Hall or a Ryder. They have terrible gas millage, and they charge you an arm and a leg for milage. With the van, millage would be cheap, and you'd probably get around 20 miles a gallon, even with the mav behind you.
