Disc brakes were OPTIONAL in '74 so it may or may not have discs, the drivetrain and suspension parts are the same as a '71...The '74 has BIG bumpers and the fenders are notched to accomodate them, and there is no front or rear vallance. the hood of a comet is different from a Maverick, although it will fit if you swap the front grill as well...the rear "end-caps" are different on a '74 from a '71 as well...Most of the interior parts will interchange...the interior armrest/handles are also different...Dashpads are the SAME from '70-'77. '74was the first year for retractable seatbelts...
