Some questions about a 351W in a Mav

Hi,
Well, i'm trying to decide what to do with my Maverick (69.5, 200 i6/auto).
I'd like to put a v8 in it, but if i'm going to do it, i want to do a 351W. So, this leaves me with some questions. I've already searched through the old postings and found some answers to some questions, but i have others:
First of all, i've heard that some of the 69.5's don't have the bolt holes for the crossmember under the engine--is this going to be a problem? Also, are v8 Mav's front or rear sump? Will the front/rear sump be a problem for a 351 (are the correct sump 351's hard to find)?

Also, i would like to use my current c4 to save some money (trying to stay low-budget here). Aside from the bellhousing, is it just the bands and the clutches that need to be replaced?

I'm sure i'll have more questions as i get further into this, but thanks for any help you can offer at this point!
