I bought My 77 Maverick about a year or so ago, well changed the title anyway. There is no vin plate on the dash, it is blank. the doors are old and any vin on the sides are gone. The title is in my name but after taking a look at it the VIN is Bogus. Three insurance companies have turned me down for an "Invalid" VIN. Two questions here are, Where else on the Car might I find the true vin. If I don't find the VIN what insurance companies can I use that don't verify the VIN. State Farm, allstate and farmers do the verification.
