Selling a Cleveland just because it needed to be sleeved is not what I would have done. But, hey, whatever.
You know if you put a iron block and iron headed BB in your Maverick the thing will understeer like crazy. I'm a handling kind of guy and I won't put a 302 in my Mav for handling reasons. Much too light. But here is an idea to help the situation if you care about handling. The 9 in. or Dana 60 an even heavier differential would actaully help correct some of the front heaviness of the ride. Since the Dana 60 is 50lbs more than a comparable 9in. it could help along with possibly having ballast or weights to the axle. If your going to do that then you might as well weigh on a good truck scale and find out your front to back and right to left so you can be weighted evenly all around. Another thing I wonder is how much angle can a shock have before it is innefective? Would you need skinny tires on the front to make up for the closer shock? Those are just some thoughts
