I learned that lesson when I last did the brakes. Made sure I had one front & one back per wheel & in the configuration shown in the book. If I remember it showed short to the rear of the drum and long to the front. I've loosened the left front brake to where it will spin freely and tightened the right front and it still pulled to the left. Odd thing is it doesn't allways pull. Only sometimes. I re-adjusted the brakes after the above test so they are about equal. Usually works good but every once in awhile it will pull like crazy. I'm going to bleed them again, just to make sure, this weekend or next week sometime and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the idea.

: Don't be offended by this, but are you sure that you don't have the same brake shoes on the same wheel(as in two front shoes and two rear shoes). I don't mean rear as in the rear axle but how they are mounted on the backing plate. (I've done this before). It would make one side grab before the other side touches. Just a fond memory of my first brake job. Russ
