Just got my engine back from the shop...all new! I'm going to paint it and then set it aside till I get further along in this project. At this rate it could be a couple of years before it gets fired up. Any advice on how to store it? It will be in a dry garage (as in it doesn't leak!) but I'm concerned about condensation from the temperature swings we get here in Ontario. I suspect it could get into the engine via an open valve. I have taped off all the openings with duct tape to paint it. Should I open up the exhaust ports and put some bags of silica in them or something? Any advice appreciated as usual. Thanks in advance.
